my brilliancy

so today i plug in my ipod for it's daily feeding time, and, as usual, a little screen pops up saying that i haven't converted the songs on my ipod to the computer since i got a new computer, and asks me if i want to replace my ipod library (which is full) to the itunes library (which is not) and i say, like every other day, NO. So what button do i click?

a)no. i WANT to keep all my music

b)yes. i WANT to spend my weekend in a chair in a cold room, ferreting out from all my other files just what songs i previously had before i screwed it all up.

so, which did you choose, a, or b? a, right? i picked...b. aren't i a regular einstien? guess who's spending their weekend searching through hundreds of files to find just a few of their songs? guess, guess. and that's not even the kicker. oh no. this is-i can only remember about 50 or so of my songs, and i refuse to listen to my favorite songs continuously for hours, therefore ruing them for myself. so here's your lucky chance, readers, all zero of you-post in the comments your favorite, must have songs-i'll listen to them all, and the ones i like best will go onto the magic ipod. here we go!

01 February 2008

hey everyone!

so lately i've been working on knitting animals, and am (ashamed) (proud) (pleased) contented to announce i have quite the menangerie, a lion and cats and kittens in varying colors (you wouldn't happen to know anyone who'd want to buy a rainbow cat/dog/sheep/four-legged animal, would you? :)

i'm not going to be able to post as much as i'd like to because, starting from yesterday on i will be working on The Cat's Ear, hopefully with fewer grammatical errors than this. It's a full-on weekly newletter this time around, and completely fulfills my journalistic urgings.

i've been dallying in Second Life lately, but not enough to fully grasp the politics, full enjoyment, etc. of it. I'm especially interested in Caledon. if anybody has a (definitive) (amusing) good 'history' of the place (founding date, creator, government, treaties, alliances, international borders, location, etc.), could you please point me to it? I'd be much obliged. The blogs tend to cause one to form a rather hazy view, distorted by thousands of other's perspectives, thoughts, musings, and even characters (especially Chartity D-something-body). I'd love to go there, but am currently unable due to inability to find a teleport or summon wish to fly around searching for it (of course i can't do things the easy way and just teleport there, i much prefer the scenic route). Emeraude's been helping me a little, but it's a little hard to do anything together when you can never seem to be on at the same time. grar. that and she's a little less...frivolous, i suppose the term would be. i'm never really sure what to describe her as. but she's a great friend.

also, i am much indebted to Disney Channel TV for airing shaun the sheep.

so happy lurking and commenting, y'all

ps i love you

pps isn't cool that i found someone whose name is the same as my screenname? i just about screamed when i met her. it was like, AHH! in a good way.
